Evenings Exist

After learning I was chosen for the GSE, I withdrew my name for teaching this spring.

Beginning in January, I will start my first semester in almost five years that I have neither been a student nor a teacher. You know what that means?

Free evenings for the first time in FIVE years.

I don't know what I will do with myself. I will have so much time. My house will be so clean. I'll have time to work out. I'll have time to see my friends! And most importantly, I can sleep!
...

That was my mentality for exactly 8 days.

I am now signing myself up for a Spanish class on Thursday evenings through OTC's Community Enrichment Center. And for Barre on Wednesday evenings. And who knows what else will fill Monday and Tuesdays. Ridiculousness.

GSE Update

We have our first team meeting tomorrow. So look for a weekend post on more details of the exchange as well as a picture of the 2013 Rotary 6080 Group Study Exchange team members.

  2. Five free evenings is four too many, but its nice to have flexibility to do different things each week. Is it a conversation Spanish class? Those can be a ton of fun.

    1. I like that mentality.

The class is through our Community Enrichment Center. It's just Beginning Spanish I and II, but they are small classes, so depending on the level of the class, it will adapt.
