Day 25: It's a Beautiful Day

City of Knowledge (picture a GIANT global JVIC). It is an innovative community in the old Canal Zone barracks and buildings. (http://www.ciudaddelsaber.org/en)

And these are bugs. That will kill you. Slowly.

Visiting the Canal

Saying hello to all the cruise ship people. Some people did not get the memo apparently they were passing through the Canal Zone because they were on their balconies... in their underwear.
Absolutely zero space between the boat and canal.

We had an awesome night of dinner and dancing (lots and lots of dancing). I was missing the 417 Magazine 20 Under 30 party (http://www.417mag.com/417-Magazine/April-2013/20-Under-30-Class-of-2013/Kim-Greene/) but my friends were awesome enough to make me feel like I was there!

I will say that even though I missed the 417 Party, I was with the next best thing. Okay, it was better than the 417 party. Like way better (Sorry 417, but you can't compete with Panama).
All the ladies in traditional dress
Reuniting with Lilianna (from our first stop in El Salvador)!!!! We missed her so much!
San Salvador
Eli, my host in San Salvador
San Miguel and San Salvador

We're currently sitting in the lobby of the hotel at the district conference prepping for our final presentation we have to give in an hour... well, we were scheduled to give in one hour. If you can imagine, we are delayed :)

This weekend is going to fly. We are going on a boat ride through the canal tomorrow and then closing ceremonies. We will end the trip on Sunday with a trip to the beach.
